Frequently asked questions about Facilon

First the questions before you start: what Facilon is, what it costs and where the data is stored. Then short, practical answers for every area of the workspace.

General questions

What Facilon is, who it is made for and what it costs.

Q01

What is Facilon?

Facilon is Swiss web software for service teams and small businesses. It combines client management, job scheduling in a calendar, offers and invoices with the Swiss QR-bill in one workspace. Facilon is developed and run by Schmid IT-Solution in Winterthur.

Q02

Who is Facilon made for?

Facilon is made for businesses that carry out jobs at their clients’ premises: cleaning companies, caretaking and facility services, gardening and garden maintenance, tradespeople and service technicians. The plans range from a one-person business with one user to teams with an individually agreed number of seats.

Q03

How much does Facilon cost?

Facilon costs CHF 10, 20 or 30 per month depending on the plan: Starter (1 user) CHF 10, Advanced (up to 2 users) CHF 20, Pro (up to 5 users) CHF 30. Paid yearly it is CHF 100, 200 or 300, which is two months free. For larger teams there is the Scale plan with an individual price.

Q04

Is there a free trial?

Yes. After signing up you try Facilon free of charge and without a credit card; the rates page says how many days the trial lasts. After that you are only charged if you have switched on automatic renewal.

Q05

Where is my data stored?

Your data is stored on servers in Switzerland and is subject to Swiss data protection law. The details are in the privacy policy and in the data processing agreement (DPA).

Q06

Can I create QR-bills with Facilon?

Yes. Facilon creates invoices as PDF with the Swiss QR payment part, with an IBAN or QR-IBAN and a payment reference. You switch on the QR-bill in the company settings; it is included in every plan.

Q07

Is there an app?

Facilon is a web app and runs in every modern browser on a computer, tablet and phone, without installation. This is how employees see their jobs with address and client details when they are out and about.

Q08

Can I export my data?

Yes, partly on your own: you export the invoices of a year as a CSV file and save offers and invoices as PDF. The workspace has no export for the client or task list; when the contract ends, the data is handed over or deleted on your instruction, as set out in the DPA.

Q09

In which languages are Facilon and its support available?

Facilon is available in German, French, Italian and English; every person in the team chooses their own language. Support answers in the same four languages, directly from the developer and usually within one working day.

Dashboard menu

Understand what the dashboard shows and how to use it day to day.

Q01

What should I check first on the dashboard?

Start with today’s open work, overdue items, and latest activity. This gives you a fast operational overview.

Q02

Does the dashboard update automatically?

Yes. Core widgets refresh while you work, and you can also reload the page for a full refresh after larger changes.

Q03

Can different users see different dashboard data?

Yes. The dashboard reflects your role and company assignment, so each user sees only the relevant workspace information.

Q01

How do I create and assign a task?
